Veenat 100mg capsule is an anticancer medicine which is used in chronic myeloid leukemia & acute lymphocytic leukemia and gastrointestinal stromal tumors. It contains an active ingredient known as imatinib. It works by inhibiting the specific proteins called tyrosine kinases that promote the growth and multiplication of cancer cells. This can stop the cancer progression and cancer load inside the body. The imatinib 100mg capsule can also be used to treat a skin tumor called dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans and a type of bone marrow condition known as aggressive systemic mastocytosis.

The capsule must be taken orally and swallowed whole with water and should not be crushed, chewed, or opened.
