Opdivo 40mg Injection (Nivolumab)

Opdivo 40mg Injection is a prescription-based anticancer medicine used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, kidney cancer, head and neck cancer, melanoma, Hodgkin's disease, and liver cancer. The active ingredient of the Opdivo is nivolumab, which belongs to the drug class of PD-1 (Programmed Cell Death Protein 1) inhibitors. As a checkpoint inhibitor, nivolumab inhibits the PD-1 protein on immune T-cells, enabling your immune system to detect and destroy cancer cells. Nivolumab 40mg injection is usually given in combination with another anticancer medicine as a part of combination therapy to increase the efficacy of the treatment.

The injection is administered as an intravenous infusion by a qualified doctor in a hospital or clinical setting.
