Oxaltero 100mg Injection (Oxaliplatin)

Oxaltero 100mg Injection is a third generation platinum based chemotherapeutic injection. It is used in the treatment of stage III colon cancer and rectal cancer post -surgery, often combined with Fluorouracil (5-FU) and Leucovorin in regimens like FOLFOX; also used for prostate cancer treatment.

Oxaltero Injection contains 100mg of Oxaliplatin salt, that forms cross-links with DNA in cancer cells, which interferes with DNA replication and transcription, ultimately stopping or slowing down the growth and spread of cancer cells.

Oxaltero 100mg Injection is a chemical salt based anticancer injection. Its salt in reaction with the body leads to numerous side effects like any other chemical medication. Symptoms may vary from mild to severe. If these side effects remain for longer period of time, consult your doctor immediately.
