Paznib 400mg Tablet (Pazopanib)

Paznib 400mg Tablet contains pazopanib, an oral multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor that blocks signaling through vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs), platelet-derived growth factor receptors, and other kinases involved in tumor growth and blood-vessel formation. It is used in selected patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma and certain advanced soft-tissue sarcomas.

Pazopanib 400mg tablet is approved for adults with advanced renal cell carcinoma in appropriate treatment settings and for selected patients with advanced soft-tissue sarcoma who have received prior chemotherapy, subject to tumor subtype and local label. It is not effective for every soft-tissue sarcoma subtype and is generally not used for adipocytic sarcoma under major regulatory labels.

Dose modification is required for toxicity and selected hepatic impairment. Avoid strong CYP3A inhibitors/inducers where possible. The Paznib 400 mg tablet strength commonly means two tablets are required for an 800 mg dose unless the oncologist prescribes a reduced dose.
