Overview

Femara 2.5mg Tablet is a hormone therapy based anticancer medicine with Letrozole as an active ingredient. It is used to treat hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It can also be used in patients with advanced stage breast cancer to prevent the tumor from spreading to other parts of the body. It works by lowering the amount of estrogen (female hormone) in the body to slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells. It should be taken in dose and duration as advice by the doctor.
